Dear Parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton,

My summer assignment here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton has come to an end. I will be heading back down to Miami to continue my third year of college philosophy at St. John Vianney College Seminary. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in this parish for the last two months. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for all you have blessed me with throughout my time of ministry here. I have learned so much from the lives and examples of Fr. Jason, Fr. Peter, and Fr. Richard as well as, your witnesses every day. God has given me many special graces during ministry in the hospital, assisted living facilities, and at your homes where I have felt the presence of God and how He is working through me for His greater glory. It has truly been a humbling experience. I thank God for my time in this parish because there have been moments where the Lord has allowed me to recognize in my own heart a great desire and passion that I have to love and serve the people of God. I am able to say with a sincere heart that I do love you! This is a desire that I pray God will continue to develop within me, so that one day if it is His will for my life I may be a priest committed to serving the people of God with an undivided heart and with unconditional love.

This is such a special community here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. From the very beginning of my stay here I have felt welcomed, but now I feel as if this is a second home for me. I thank you for that! Be assured of my prayers for you and this parish. Please pray for me that the Lord’s will be done in my life. I will most definitely be back to visit and to see all of you! Let us remember that Christ is our Life and may we realize that in everything we say or do “Christ is all and in all” (Col 3:11). God Bless you and your families!
