How the Good News Gets Around To You
Help Spread the Faith Catholic Communications Appeal is Sept. 24-25
in all parishes of the Diocese of St. Augustine.

The St. Augustine Catholic magazine, unlike any other magazine in Florida, has the mission to share the Good News of Christ and his church. As Catholics we are called to share this message with everyone. The magazine comes to you as a gift from your parish and the diocese, and it is sent to all members of the parish regardless of how regularly they attend Mass. The magazine both enriches the faith lives of practicing Catholics with inspiring stories and encourages those who have been away from the church to come back. It keeps people connected to the church.

If you enjoy and value the St. Augustine Catholicmagaine, consider making a donation to this year’sHelp Spread the Faith Catholic Communications Appeal on the weekend of Sept. 24-25 in your parish. A $30 gift will cover the cost of the magazine for an entire year for you and perhaps an individual who is home-bound. A $100 gift will help keep the magazine coming to members of your parish who look forward to every issue, but struggle to cover their monthly living expenses. And now you can download an app for your iPhone and iPad and take the magazine wherever you go!

Ninety cents of every dollar given to this appeal will go directly to the diocese to cover the cost of the St. Augustine Catholic, the content of the diocesan website (, the digital version of the magazine ( and the magazine apps for the iPhone, iPad and ITouch devices. The other 10 percent of the appeal goes to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for their evangelization media efforts.

Even if you are not able to give financially, please pray for the staff and contributors that we will continue to do His work well and spread the Good News across the Diocese of St. Augustine.
