Hurricane Irma

Based on the most recent hurricane updates, please note the following:

Due to the extreme circumstances, Bishop Estévez is allowing Pastors to offer dispensation from the Sunday Mass obligation for September 10th. Fr. Jason has granted this dispensation to all parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This dispensation is to assist the safety and conscience of the faithful, and remains in effect regardless of the weather situation as it develops over the weekend in their local area. The faithful are encouraged to exercise prudence in determining whether or not to venture out in any storm and should contact their local parishes for specific changes

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish all Masses up to and including the 4:00 PM Vigil Mass on Saturday, September 9th will be celebrated. We may be seeing some of the first bands of Hurricane Irma around this time, so please use prudential judgment when deciding to come to Mass as the dispensation from the obligation has been given.

-Saturday 6:00 PM at St. Stephen’s Chapel

-All Sunday Masses

-Both 7:00 & 8:30 Masses on Monday morning.

Masses will resume Tuesday morning at 7:00 am contingent upon weather and any facility damage. We will update you if there are any changes.

The special collection for Hurricane Harvey, scheduled for this weekend September 9th and 10th  has been rescheduled for September 16th and 17th.

All Sunday through Tuesday activities and meetings have been cancelled.

The Parish Office will close on Friday. It will remain closed through at least Monday, September 11th – possibly longer depending on circumstances

Please follow the directives of Flagler County officials and prudential judgement when it comes to mandatory evacuations and venturing out before, during and after Hurricane Irma.  Be safe.  We are praying for all of you!
