The parish that plays together stays together!  This ministry provides an opportunity to socialize, build community, offer lunch, and have fun.  Beyond that, however, it provides a forum to display the willingness of the parish to host the entire community to promote evangelization and care for others.

On a scheduled basis the sacristans set up the sanctuary for all Masses: daily, weekend, funerals, weddings, etc.  They prepare all vessels and elements used in the Mass, light the candles, change the altar linens and the linens used in the Mass proper.  The sacristans are responsible to return the items to their proper places.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is a core part of our Church, inspired by Catholic family where parishioners of all ages support one another to grow in faith.  Our youth invigorate our parish as the future of our Catholic Church.  We believe in leading teens closer to Christ, and central to our mission is connecting them to the life of the entire parish and infusing the surrounding community with the light of Christ.  With the Blessed Mother Mary as our intercessor and guide, we seek to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.  We want our young Church to Rise Up and be alive in the Spirit!  It is in this unification that we are one in Him.

Welcoming youth to participate in music ministry and to serve as liturgical ministers especially at our 12:00 noon Mass on Sundays provides opportunities for teenagers to engage.  We leverage Life Teen, a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, helping us to lead teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.  We invite youth to fun weekly Life Gatherings on Sundays for high school aged teens and Tuesday afternoons for middle school students.  Opportunities to enter into greater faith and fellowship include:  XLT Praise and Worship Adoration Nights, sports activities and game days, retreats, youth conferences, outreach works of charity serving the poor, speakers, summer camps, beach days, movie nights, socials and much more.

We invite all youth to come and bring your friends to experience the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.
