Pentecost Sunday

This weekend we close out the Easter Season with the celebration of Pentecost, veni Sancti Spiritu! Indeed the Holy Spirit is very much at work in the world, in our country, in our diocese and in our parish!

We have an amazing new Holy Father who has impacted the world with his humility, joy and frankness about the faith. We are united with our brothers and sisters in our country as we stand for religious freedom and our right to proclaim the Gospel at all times. We have a bishop who has already done some marvelous things in our diocese including the beginning of annual Eucharistic Congresses in the few years he has been with us! And we are celebrating a native son from our parish beginning his journey as a priest! Congratulations and many blessings to you Fr. Richard Pagano! But the blessings of the Spirit at work do not stop there! It is with grat joy that I share with you that we have been given a third priest for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton! Fr. Richard Pagano has been assigned to serve here with us! Along with being an Associate here, Fr. Richard will also be teaching at St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Augustine. Please keep Fr. Richard in your prayers and extend to him a hearty welcome home!
