Engaging Our Youth
Join the Conversation by taking the Youth and Young Adult Survey Today!
Bishop Felipe Estévez has formed a Youth and Young Adult Vision Committee to explore the future of youth and young adult ministry in the Diocese of St. Augustine.
The committee is made up of experienced youth ministers, clergy and young adult directors from across the diocese and they need input from parents, youth, directors of youth ministry and young adult ministry.
The overall objective for the team is to develop a clear vision for youth and young adult ministry and to formulate measurable goals for a new diocesan director who will oversee youth and young adult programs.
“Bishop Estévez values our teens and young adults and he wants to develop a ministry that engages them and makes them feel they are valued members of our church,” said Onie Rodriguez-Lee, a member of the vision committee.
The committee had developed a survey for parishioners to provide input. The survey is now available by clicking on the link below. In addition to the survey, the vision committee will be conducting focus groups with young adults, clergy and youth ministers.
Be a part of the church’s future and take part in the youth and young adult ministry survey. Your input counts! For more information, email Onie Rodriguez-Lee at or call (904) 388-1207.
