We regret to inform the faithful of our community of the death of our beloved Father John W. McElroy.  Fr. McElroy went home to the Lord on Thursday, April 11. Please keep him in your prayers.

Ordained to the priesthood in 1956 for the Archdiocese of Boston, Father McElroy served most of his ministry as a commissioned chaplain in the Chaplain Corps for the U.S. Navy and Marines. His final tour was at NAS Jacksonville. He retired in 2000 and relocated to Palm Coast where he served as a weekend assistant at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (mostly at St. Stephen Chapel) and he offered Mass as needed in various parishes throughout the diocese. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.

The wake service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 @ 7:00 pm in the church.  The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday,  April 24, 2024 @ 11:00 am with a reception to follow in our Seton Hall.
