All teens who are in grades 6-12 during the 2024-25 school year are eligible to join the VBS Teen Leader Core Team!
The cost to participate is $30, which includes a core team t-shirt and snacks for the week. Teens earn up to 31 service hours for the full week and Sunday training! Payment can be made by credit card via PayPal (emailed to you after registering) or via check dropped off at the Rectory office.
NOTE: Teen Core Team members are REQUIRED to attend the MANDATORY training, held on Sunday, July 20th, from 1 pm to 6:30 pm at SEAS. If you cannot attend this training you may not be allowed to participate!
PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN 48 HOURS of registration or the teen will be dropped from the core team!

These talented individuals bring skits and Bible stories to life at each day's group opening session! Actors and actresses should be comfortable with acting both serious and silly in front of large groups of people. NOTE: We will meet to practice before the week of VBS!
These organized storytellers bring the Bible to life for groups of elementary age kids through interactive and engaging experiences, then helps kids apply the word of God to their own lives.
The crew leaders will lead a small group of elementary age kids. There’s no preparation required. A good crew leader is a friend and helper for the kids and station leaders. They ask questions, take kids seriously and encourage them throughout VBS.
These energetic and organized team members are incharge of leading groups of elementary age kids in fun physical activities and discussions. You don’t need to be an Olympian, you just need to be organized, energetic, and fun loving!
The Imagination Station Core Team members aid the Imagination Station leaders in preparing materials and helps elementary age kids in imaginatively assembling their own creations.
The media team will take daily photos and videos of each of the stations and participants at VBS. Must be savvy at capturingphotos/videos and how to upload/transmit media to VBS director.
The opening and closing core team aids the opening and closing leader by preparing materials, providing a helping hand on stage, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
The preschool core team members will lead a crew of small groups of preschool age kids. There’s no preparation required. A good preschool core team member is a friend and helper for the kids and station leaders. They ask questions, take kids seriously and encourage them throughout VBS.
These core team members will assist in preparing materials and serving kids their daily snacks!
This team will take photos/videos and organize the daily Spotlight slideshow!
The Sticky Scripture Station Core Team shares Bible-point-reinforcing video resources with groups of elementary age kids before leading them in discussion on how they can apply the point totheir own lives.
